CONTEST RULES

It’s FREE to sign-up and FREE to perform.

All songs performed must be originals, this is not American Idol, save the covers for Saturday nights.

Single Elimination- Two songs per round, Head to head competition.

Judging- Judges will consist of people with careers in the music industry. (No member of the judging panel is allowed to have family members competing.

Daily Winners- Daily winners will be posted on this web-site and in the front windows of SOP’s

Maximum 6 members per band- Due to time constraints and stage size, bands are limited to six members or less.

Special instrument requirements need to be submitted in advance- We will not have unique instruments in house and use of one must be approved before the competition begins.

Guitars, acoustics, bass, keyboards, drums, and basic effects pedals will be provided

Check in is one hour before performance time- Every member of your band must be checked in and ready to perform one hour before your time slot, but you’ll be here watching the competition anyway.

The main goal of this event is to bring original music to the people who care about it.  While the competition is an excellent opportunity for bands, the event is designed for the people who love live music.
